A motorist and a pedestrian were injured after the former crashed into the latter in southern India's Telangana on February 21. The incident took place in the Chintal in Medchal Hyderabad.

CCTV footage witnessing the incident features a pedestrian jaywalking. Within moments, a speeding bike enters the scene and crashes into the man. The pedestrian gets thrown onto the road while the motorist goes ahead and crashes into a road median. He falls on the other side of the road, barely escaping from getting crushed under the wheels of another car. Meanwhile, the onlookers rush to the spot to tend to the injured.

The pedestrian, Shankaraiah, suffered minor injuries while the motorist, Shiva Sai Goud, sustained major head injuries. Both the casualties were rushed to a local hospital. Moreover, the Jeedimetla police have registered a case against both of them since the pedestrian was jaywalking, and the biker was not wearing a helmet.
