Furious elephant flips over tractor during Hindu procession in northeast India
A tame elephant flew into a rage during a procession in north India and flipped over a tractor onto its side.
The incident took place in Bihar state’s Siwan city, during the Hindu festival of Shivratri on March 13.
In Siwan’s Rajendra Chowk area, during a procession one of the elephants got angry and attacked a tractor which had a sound system playing music installed on it .
The elephant used its trunk to lift up the tractor and flip it onto its side, sending the people aboard flying.
Fortunately no one was injured in this incident, and the elephant's mahout quickly regained control of the elephant and drove it farther down the street away from the crowds.
