Military helicopters seen landing at Civil airport in Yorkshire
Footage filmed today (18th March) shows 2 military helicopters landing at a civil airport in North Yorkshire.
The video shows 2 RAF AW159 Wildcats landing at Leeds East Airport. The helicopters were in fact being refuelled after a training exercise North of the airport.
The airport is an ex RAF base known as RAF Church Fenton but was decommissioned in 2013. The airport is now in use by private jet owners but the airport also supplies fuel to other aircraft such as military.
