Several homes were left damaged after extreme weather battered West Sumatra, Indonesia.

Footage from March 18 shows residents in Agam Regency examining the damage as roofs were ripped off houses.

Rinaldi, a local, explained that he was shocked as heavy rain and hail battered his home.

It appears that the two houses are no longer inhabited because the roof of the building has collapsed along with some of the residents' houses were also damaged by the wind and exposed to water.

One of the owners of the damaged house, Rinaldi said "he was shocked because the Indonesian area does not have an ice climate, and suddenly high intensity rain mixed with ice fell on his home area" .

There were no casualties in this incident, but the owner of the house suffered a loss that his house could no longer be occupied.
