'Traumatic Aftermath of the Ontario Firework Explosion from a Witness's Viewpoint. '
'On March 16, 2021, a massive explosion happened in Ontario, California which stemmed from commercial-grade fireworks. Two people lost their lives in this violent incident.
This clip features a mother and daughter who happened to be close to this unfortunate scene.
Kimberly Sierra, the filmer of this video, told us: "Ontario is a city where not much happens, so the whole city was surprised and alarmed by the explosion. My mother and I were in the car and then the second explosion happened before our eyes. You could see my anxiety getting worse."
She added: "I wanted to leave and get out of there. We were close to it and anything else around had a chance of exploding as well. This was a very traumatic experience for us. It was unexpected and unplanned."
Following the explosion, an evacuation order was issued to the people living close to the area and to those who were visiting it.
