Police officials seized an estimated 800 kg (1763 lbs) of cannabis worth approximately USD $275,765 in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on March 21.

The incident took place in Gochekka village, located in Parvathipuram Tehsil of Vizianagaram district.

Footage of the recovery features a person opening a component of the truck by cutting open its body, exposing a secret cavity underneath the lorry.

Reportedly the Parvathipuram police officials seized a lorry in connection with the smuggling of cannabis at the Odisha border zone during a routine inspection.

Following this, the authorities arrested two people regarding this matter as they were moving the illicit goods from Vishakhapatnam.
