This couple living in Houston, Texas, filmed as they transformed their home's interior while saving money.

Jennifer Laura Harrup, 33, and her husband did not want to spend almost $2,000 on a TV frame so they made their own.

They also gave their son's room an entire makeover.

Harrup said: "The DIYs I did in my son's room all came from a place of want - I wanted something specific for his room and didn't want to spend a fortune so DIYing became an obvious solution to get the look of what I wanted at a price point I could afford! I also love sharing tutorials of every project that I do on my blog!

"My husband has been so excited about every video and project I complete, he is beyond supportive and my son Phoenix thinks it's 'pretty cool' that his mom went viral on Tik Tok!

"The IKEA dresser hack is a project that was super simple, I painted the drawers in three slightly different tones of blue paint to create an ombre effect and then DIY'd animal drawer knobs out of plastic animal toys. The effect turned out even better than I imagined!"

"The DIY TV frame was a project I tackled to upgrade our basic TV and let it mesh into the gallery wall I created a bit more. We used simple moulding from the hardware store, a mitre box to cut our corners, and some strong adhesive to hold it all together, then I rub and buffed it all to give it an antique gold look.

"The overall room transformation of my son's room is such a fun video. You see his room go from a pink guest room, to painting the walls and ceiling blue, applying the wallpaper, DIYing the light fixture, creating the dresser....everything in that room down to the art on the walls was a DIY and my husband and I did it all together. It was such a special room to create for our 3-year-old (this was his very first room) and I love how it turned out!"
