The officials destroyed liquor worth Rs. 1.58 crore (USD 2,18,257) in central India's Madhya Pradesh on March 21. The incident took place in Seoni.

A video features a couple of people opening the cartons full of beer and pouring it into a pit in front of them. Following this, they continue to fill the ditch with beer while an excavator present on the spot destroys all the alcohol bottles by crushing them.

Liquor worth Rs. 1.58 crores (USD 2,18,257) were destroyed by the Excise Department officials for the non-lifting of alcohol within the given time set by the Excise Commissioner of Gwalior. The officials poured 33 thousand liters of the six-month-old beer into a pit, while the alcohol bottles were run over by an excavator.

Around 2800 boxes of beer were poured into the pit dug by the officials, while 2100 spirit boxes were destroyed on the spot. These bottles sold in Seoni, Chhindwara, and Balaghat districts were stored at Seoni's overseas liquor warehouse.
