This is the emotional moment a woman from Missouri in the USA wept tears of joy after learning she was to become a grandmother in a pregnancy surprise.

The touching footage, which was filmed in Barnhart on Christmas day 2018, shows Angela Hays unwrapping a present from her son William and his wife Aleta.

When she finally gets all the wrapping off, she discovers a box full of diapers (nappies) and quickly works out what this means.

"Are you guys having a baby?" she asks, before choking up.

Her husband James comforts her before she gets up to hug her family with tears still running down her cheeks.

'This woman in Barnhart had no idea how special Christmas 2018 would be for her.

Recorded by Aleta Hays (34), this video features her mother-in-law, Angela Hays (63), opening a package that the filmer and her husband gifted her. Upon opening the package, Angela finds several diapers.

And it doesn't take her long to figure out that the gift is an indication of her becoming a grandmother as her oldest son, William (40), is about to become a dadda!

The new grandma doesn't hold back while expressing her feelings toward this revelation and hugs her husband, James, with eyes full of tears before getting up and hugging the to-be parents.
