This is the adorable rescued baby civet in Indonesia with a unique hobby: sucking its savior's toes.

In footage filmed on early Tuesday (March 23) in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, a baby civet, less than a month old, plays in the family room with its savior, 34-year-old Waldi.

The baby civet who hasn't been named always approached Wal who knelt on the floor while watching TV, to bite Waldi's big toe, making the man laugh and scream with amusement.

According to Waldi, midnight is indeed the time for these animals to be active. This baby civet is active and likes to play to sharpen its newly grown teeth.

This baby civet has received care for 3 days. Last Monday the civet were reported by residents to be evacuated by the Bukittinggi Reptile Animal Community (B-Reptanic) team.

Waldi and the other B-Reptanic team arrived at the location to find the baby civet on a rock in a ditch, wet and alone as separated from its mother.

"It was around 5 in the morning. The civet was thought to have been left behind by its mother who rushed to find a place to sleep because it was getting to noon," Waldi added.

Waldi and his wife are now caring for the baby civet with great love.
