Tourists flocked to view a spectacular 2.7-million-square-metre sea of flowering cherry blossoms in southwestern China.

The video, shot in Yiliang County in Yunnan Province on March 20, shows 61 varieties of blooming cherry blossoms in a 27-million-square-metre field.

According to reports, the cherry blossom field was a barren slope 16 years ago. Local villagers transformed it into the largest cherry blossom planting base in the province, which attracts around 8,000 tourists per day.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
