Cleanup operations are underway in Sohag, Egypt after a train collision left at least 32 people dead.

Video filmed on Friday (March 26) shows a heavy crane removing wreckage from the crash while locals watch on. Part of the train is seen on its side.

At least 32 killed and more than 100 were injured after the emergency brakes were activated on a train causing another train behind to crash into it.

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi tweeted: "I closely followed the tragic accident that we saw today, when two trains collided in Sohag Governorate. The pain in our hearts today will only increase our determination to put an end to this type of disaster."
