'Rider Launched 80 Feet into the Air after Fast-Paced Snowmobile Crash'
'This is the jaw-dropping moment when a man runs into a high-speed snowmobile crash in Gallatin County, Montana, on the shore of Hebgen Lake looking north.
In this video, Michael Brown (filmer) records one of his friends riding a snowmobile across the lake at a speed of 92mph. Upon hitting the shoreline's berm, the rider ends up getting launched into the air before witnessing a nasty landing.
Michael and company then check up on him and despite his body hurting, the friend confirms that he was okay.
The filmer gave us the background of this footage: "Three of my friends and I had just finished lunch at the Happy Hour Bar on the north side of Hebgen Lake. Then, we left and rode our snowmobiles across the lake heading south. Three of us had made it across and were talking about how we were able to push more than 90mph. "
"We were waiting on our last friend, Steven Guzman to come across the lake, at which point I turned to see Guz coming across and realized that he wasn’t slowing down enough and was going to hit the shoreline’s berm way too fast. This is where the video begins."
Michael also revealed that after doing some measurements and calculations, he was able to conclude that Guz went through the air for about 80 feet and that he was very lucky to come out of this crash without incurring any major injuries.
