Incredible Acrylic floral design done with the pull string method
I love doing art and this is a crazy fun thing you can do with your kids. Get a canvas and pour a white base coat and evenly spread out. Most pouring Acrylics are self leveling. Then I measured my strings and soaked them in the colors I wanted to use for 10 minutes in little Dixie cups. Coffee stir sticks work great to get the string completely coated with paint. Then just place your strings in a crazy pattern and when finished placing your strings hold the canvas at the top and slowly start pulling your strings in a downward motion until they are completely off the canvas. Let dry 24 hours and spray with rustoleum clear enamel to seal.
