Resident rescues hungry stray kitten tangled in chicken coop net
A resident rescued a hungry stray kitten after its mouth was caught in a chicken coop net it nibbled on.
Cornelio Maluyo, said he heard his mother shouting and asking for help after she saw the cat appearing to be dead in Ilocos Norte, the Philippines on December 15.
However, they realised the cat was unhurt and was only lying in that position because the moggie was more comfortable that way.
He said: ‘Maybe he was hungry so he went into the chicken fence where there was leftover food. Fortunately, my mother saw him and I am currently taking care of him.’
