Extraordinary 140-metre-high glass bridge in China is not for the fainthearted
This extraordinary 140-metre-high glass bridge in east China is not for the fainthearted.
The video, shot in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province on October 14, 2020, shows a 100-metre-long and 140-metre-high double-deck glass bridge named Ruyi Bridge connecting two canyons.
Several tourists were seen walking on the glass bridge and taking pictures.
The Ruyi Bridge opened to the public during China's National Day holidays (October 1) in 2020 and it has already welcomed over 200,000 tourists.
Some people were scared by the bridge and said they would not have the courage to step on it.
One netizen on China's Twitter-like Weibo said: "I already feel short of breath when I watch the video."
While another one commented: "Do they have a toilet nearby? I feel I will need to go to the toilet before steeping on it (the bridge)."
The video was provided by local media with permission.
