Truck slams into car after emergency braking on highway in eastern China
A truck slammed into a car waiting at traffic lights after emergency braking in eastern China.
The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Quzhou in Zhejiang Province on March 23, shows the truck crashing into a car that had stopped at a set of traffic lights.
The car was sent spinning into the middle of the road by the impact.
According to the truck driver Yang, he thought the car would have driven past the traffic light when the green light was flashing but it stopped. Yang could not brake immediately and the trunk of his truck hit the car.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The truck driver was blamed for the incident as he did not keep a safe distance from the car.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
