Firefighters rescued a boy trapped in a hole in a stone table in eastern China.

The heroic video, shot in the city of Zibo in Shandong Province on March 28, shows firefighters using tools to try to break a 1-tonne stone table.

They used an expander and a hydraulic push rod to lift the stone table up to free the 6-year-old boy trapped inside.

According to reports, the boy went into the 25-centimetre-diametre hole in the table when he was playing and became stuck.

Fortunately, the boy was not injured. The video was provided by local media with permission.

小男孩卡进1吨重石桌圆孔 消防巧妙“掏”出孩子
春暖花开，是外出游玩的好时候，但是游玩的时候，千万要注意孩子的安全。28日下午3点左右，在淄博淄川区聊斋城景区，一名6岁小男孩在一个石桌跟前玩耍的时候，不小心卡进了石桌的孔洞，随后家长拨打了119报警电话。
卡住孩子的是一块天然巨石打磨成的石桌，石桌中间有一个孔洞，直径大概25厘米左右。孔洞下方空间较大。据了解，孩子是因为好奇，从石桌下方钻入孔洞中，造成胸腹部被卡，越挣扎越紧。由于石桌较矮，此时孩子的腰部扭曲，腿处于弯曲状态，救援存在一定难度。
起初，消防员想利用工具将石桌破拆，但由于石头重约一吨，质地坚硬，救援速度很慢。此时，孩子由于被困时间较长，已经哭了起来。消防员立即改变救援方案，利用扩张器和液压顶杆，将石桌直接顶起，增加救援空间。随后小心翼翼地将孩子从石桌中“掏”了出来。由于救援及时，孩子的身体没有受伤。（视频由淄博台台提供）
