The Metro Jaya Police Bomb Squad Team arrived at the location where the suspicious bag was found on Wednesday (31/3/2021) in the morning. One of the personnel wore special clothes and examined the suspicious bag.
Residents were shocked by the discovery of 2 backpacks and 1 suspicious red plastic bag carried by an unknown man at the Ar Rahman Grand Mosque, Jalan Dr. Setia Budi, Pondok Kacang Permai, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, on Tuesday (30/03/2021) Around 21.30 WIB.
According to residents, an unknown person was chased and managed to escape.
South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin explained that the suspicious object at the Grand Mosque of Ar Rahman Pondok Aren, South Tangerang was a bag containing some clothes. Apart from clothes, there are also wedding invitations and books.
Several items found were taken by the police for further examination.
