An armed woman was shot dead by authorities at the police headquarters in Jakarta in an alleged terrorist attack.

Footage from March 31 shows a woman wielding what appears to be a gun patrolling outside the Indonesian National Police headquarters before being shot by authorities.

The incident is being described as an "alleged terror attack" by local media.

There was a shootout between the suspected terrorists and police officers. Until now, the identity of the suspected terrorist who died is not yet known.

Including whether the person is part of a terrorist group or not.

Based on CCTV camera footage, the woman suspected of being a terrorist who attacked the National Police Headquarters building wore a blue headscarf.

From the video recording, initially the perpetrator walked towards the guard post. Arriving at the checkpoint, he immediately attacked the police with a gun.

Not long after, the suspected terrorist was lying on the street because he was hit by gunfire. However, so far the condition of the assailant is not yet known.

Currently, members of the Police with long rifles are still on standby around the location.
