A plane with Russian journalist Vladimir Pozner and his guests recently took off from Tbilisi International Airport.

As InterPressNews was told in TAV-Georgia, the Russian journalist took a charter flight with his entourage.

The Russian journalist arrived in Tbilisi to celebrate his birthday and planned to return on April 3, but due to the developments and protests, he had to leave the country early.

For the record, Vladimir Pozner arrived in Georgia on March 31. His visit to Georgia was followed by protests by civil activists, who were later joined by politicians.

Activists claimed that Pozner was the author of a statement that "Abkhazia will never be part of Georgia" and that he should leave Georgia immediately. At the same time, activists claimed that Pozner and his guests violated the curfew when they arrived from the Rooms Hotel for dinner at the Vinotel Hotel.
