The local police destroyed silencers of several two-wheelers in public view as a measure to avoid noise pollution in northern India's Punjab on April 1. The incident took place in Barnala.

A video features multiple silencers kept on the ground in a line-like formation. The officials use a road roller to destroy the devices and crush them one by one. Meanwhile, the police personnel stands in proximity to supervise the activity, and onlookers gather around to behold the experience.

The local police took up the measure to curb the noise pollution created by modified bike silencers. They removed the devices from the two-wheelers and destroyed over 150 of them in public view as a means to bring about change.
