Bright meteorite flashes overhead in Malaysia
Footage shows a bright meteorite flashing above a Malaysian village.
Dashcam owner Fred said he was travelling home in Penampang, Sabah, when he saw the light on January 31.
The meteorite, which was seen across some parts of Malaysia and Brunei, created an explosive sound which worried residents.
Fred said: ‘I was driving my car when I heard and felt something like an earthquake. I looked up and saw smoke in the air.’Footage shows a bright meteorite flashing above a Malaysian village.
