Moment wild elephant approaches man on road in Thailand
This is the moment a wild elephant sent a motorcycle rider running for his life.
The jumbo emerged from woodland and walked along a mountain road in Nakhon Ratchasima, northern Thailand, on January 25.
Footage from a wildlife photographer in the area at the time shows the bull holding up traffic. It then walked towards a man who turned on his heels and ran.
Onlooker Chamnan said: ‘There was nothing to worry about. The elephant was just teasing the wildlife officers. It took a few hours before he went back into the forest.’
