An amusing video has emerged of a baby learning to crawl and immediately heading for a dog’s food bowl.

In the footage, captured by the baby’s mother at their home in Port Hadlock-Irondale, WA, US earlier this month, the small girl can be seen making her way over to the bowl and helping herself to a fistful of biscuits.

“My 7-month-old daughter Tzivia just learned to crawl, and she went right for the dog food,” her mother later wrote online.

“Luckily, my dog (a poodle/bichon rescue) is vegan and his food (V-Dog) is actually perfectly safe for human consumption. Also luckily, my dog is a sweetheart who doesn't mind his "little sister" poking around in his bowl.”
