Police officials busted a gang involved in printing fake currencies in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on April 3. The incident took place in the Prakasam district.

A video features the police raiding a house where the miscreants manufacture counterfeit notes. Following this, the team of cops recover and seize all the items from the accused and apprehend them.

Based on a tip-off, the police officials raided a house located at Bala Sai Nagar in Chirala during the night. Following this, they seized a computer, a scanner, a color printer, and other equipment and took six persons, including a woman into custody. However, two of them, identified as Nandam Ravi and Gangireddy Krishna Reddy, absconded the scene, and their search is still in progress. Around eighty thousand counterfeit currencies were seized during the operation.

Furthermore, The accused were identified as Macherla Madhusudhan Rao, S Eswara Rao, and S Muralikrishna of Chirala-Perala, K Annapurna of Vaikunta Puram in Chirala, and J Sivaprasad, and J Kiran from Vadlapudi center in Mangalagiri.
