A Vietnamese doctor last week removed a poisonous ant from a woman's ear canal.

Footage filmed with an otoscope at a clinic in Hai Duong on March 30 shows the insect inside the auditory canal.

Dr Thuoc said the woman was brought to his clinic with ear pain and ear bleeding.

She said an animal had entered her ear and she could feel it crawling around her eardrum.

Dr Thuoc used salt water to paralyse the insect before sucking it out of her ear canal.

According to the doctor, the ant severely damaged her auditory canal and it will take her several weeks for her to recover fully.

The patient said she thinks the creature crawled into her ear while she was sleeping.

The doctor used salt water to make the ant faint and suck it out of the woman's ear canal.
The poisonous ant attacked the woman's ear canal and severely damaged the ear canal.It will take several weeks for the wound to heal. If the woman didn't come to the clinic early, the ant would strike deep inside and endanger her.
The woman was very surprised to see the ant. She said that while she was sleeping, she suddenly woke up because it crawled into her ear.
