A sudden fire broke out in a residence, claiming the lives of the livestock in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 5. The incident took place in Udaipura village, located in the Rehli region of the Sagar District.

Visuals feature the entire house set ablaze. High flames gut the residence while clouds of dense, gray smoke rise towards the sky. The raging fire guts several household items, including the livestock tied inside the house. Later, the fire officials douse the fire to reveal the charred structure of the residence.

The house owner, identified as Kamlesh Sahu, sustained 45 percent burn injuries while a cow and a calf were charred to death. The fire also gutted three two-wheelers and two bicycles. Furthermore, Kamlesh was referred to the Garhakota community health center for treatment.

The fire broke out at midnight, following which the police and the fire department personnel rushed to the spot. However, by that time, the blaze had gutted the entire residence. While the cause of the fire is still unascertained, the affected family suspects personal enmity.
