The parks remain closed due to the emergency phase in São Paulo. The extension of the emergency phase to deal with the coronavirus pandemic continues until April 11. The most stringent measures to restrict circulation and activities are in effect in the 645 cities of the state to curb the increase in cases and deaths from COVID-19 and reduce the burden on public and private hospitals. Since March 15, the emergency phase determines a curfew in the 645 municipalities every day, between 8 pm and 5 am, in addition to preventing access to parks and beaches.
