The police officials created a stamp on the hands of the people who violated the COVID-19 norms in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 8. The incident took place in Chhatarpur.

Visuals feature the police officials conducting mask check-ups in the middle of the road. They stop the violators and put stamps on their hands, marking them as the carriers of the virus. One of the men even does sit-ups in public view before getting the seal.

The local police took the initiative of marking the locals who flouted the COVID-19 norms and did not wear face masks. The stamp would identify the person as a carrier of the virus, and if the individual is found without a mask again, he would become entitled to legal action.
