'Beefing on a motorway can lead to disastrous consequences and this chill-inducing footage proves the same.

Recorded on Emanuel Bland Jr.'s Tesla Model 3's front and rear dashcams, this clip shows a Subaru driver and a Lexus one trying to one-up each other on a busy road.

As the Lexus driver tries to overtake the Subaru ahead of it, the latter clarifies its intention to keep the left lane occupied. This causes the Lexus driver to move to the right, reenter the left lane, and cruise ahead of the Subaru before almost causing a wild accident.

The filmer wrote: "Driver in Subaru was refusing to let the tailgating Lexus driver pass. Lexus driver used the truck lane to pass me and then shifted over two lanes to jump in front of the Subaru driver before applying the brakes, sending the Subaru driver into a 360-degree spin and into the median strip."

This gripping scene occurred in January 2020.
