This former ambulance driver who lost his right arm in combat in 2008 has started bodybuilding.

Nidal al-Daour, 36, lost his arm when an ambulance he was driving was struck by opposition forces.

The 36-year-old has since started a bodybuilding club in Gaza due to his strong desire to regularly exercise.

Al-Daour explains that he made a simple device to aid him when performing certain exercises.

Nidal al-Daour, 36, was a former ambulance driver in the Palestinian Civil Defense, who was injured and amputated in his right hand while working as a paramedic during the 2008 war, when the ambulance he was driving was directly targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.

Al-Daour pointed out that the idea of ​​establishing a bodybuilding club came because of his strong desire to practice sports periodically and daily in order to avoid muscle atrophy in his body due to lack of activity, some exposure to amputations in his hand, as the urgent need to exercise was the first motivation in order to work on this project .
Al-Daour confirmed that he made a simple device, which is a party that he wears in his amputated hand, consisting of some ligaments, to work with in his exercises during the exercise of weight lifting.
