Deaf girl performs Mariah Carey's inspirational 'Hero' in sign language
A hard of hearing performer did not let her disability get in the way of her love of music when she performed the Mariah Carey song ‘Hero’ in American sign language (ASL).
Kimberley Mimi Sue said she hoped her performance of the inspiring song would send a message of courage and resilience.
“I set an example for people who have other disabilities and people in general — that we can do anything we put our minds to, and there’s a hero inside us all” she said.
