Despite the bitterly cold weather, spring buds are bursting and the daffodils are in bloom. Enter a Roe Buck, antlers shedding velvet and just beginning to lose his winter coat; see how he delicately nibbles the first flush of hawthorn buds and then picks his way down the steep bank to browse on bramble buds, managing to almost snare himself on the briars in the process. This extra #BrightenYourDay video was filmed this morning from our bathroom window in #Stroud,#Gloucestershire - a nice start to the weekend as the weather improves and we can connect with #nature to ease the frustrations of #Covid19 #lockdown.
