Amusing footage shows a terrified cat burglar clinging on the wall like a spider to avoid three guard dogs below.

Pet owner Samantha Mae Jalandoni Maravilla heard loud barking inside the kitchen and was shocked the see the scene in Iloilo City, the Philippines on February 8.

The stray cat had climbed into the house looking for food before having a fright when it saw the fierce mutts below – and quickly changed its mind.

She said: ‘That cat always sneaks inside the house to look for food. We couldn’t close our sliding doors since our dogs are potty trained, and they can go out whenever they want.

‘The cat intruder was smart enough to reach the closet and stay there until my pets left. I felt bad so I gave it some food.’
