Huge numbers of people hit pubs across England last night (April 12) as coronavirus restrictions were eased.

Earlier in the day, shoppers returned to IKEA and to hair salons for the first time in months.

It was a full on party in London as huge crowds felt free, drank, cheered, ate, danced and socialised together for the first time for months.

The clips show the evening time revellers, with a police arrest for alleged criminal damage to a Soho cafe, afternoon drinkers in the Shoreditch sun, people shopping and browsing in IKEA and sports shops, and some cool barbers with pool tables as well as your more traditional hairdressers.
