Dozens were arrested as unrest over the police shooting of Daunte Wright continued in Minnesota on April 12.

Footage shows tear gas being fired as police forces attempted to disperse the protest outside Brooklyn Center police department.

Daunte Wright, 20, was shot and died after a police officer mistook her gun for a taser.

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Brooklyn Center police station on Monday night, April 12 to protest over Daunte Wright's death despite a 7:00 pm curfew.

Despite a 7 pm curfew, hundreds of protesters gathered for a second night on April 12 outside of the Brooklyn Center Police Department in Minnesota to protest the death of Daunte Wright.

State troopers and members of the Minnesota National Guard joined the Brooklyn Center police force in securing the area. Protesters clashed with them anew as they continued to protest Wright's death.

New information stated that the police officer who shot Wright mistakenly used a gun instead of a taser.
