An injured auto driver was saved from attackers by the 17th Bhind Battalion in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 15. The incident took place in Garhakota in the Sagar district.

Visuals of the event feature an injured auto driver surrounded by police officials. One of the attackers is held captive by the battalion members as they are seen interrogating him, while the other manages to flee. Following this, the local police get alerted, and the attacker is handed over to the police department. Meanwhile, the injured auto driver is sent for treatment at the local hospital.

It is alleged that the attackers booked the auto from Damoh to Parsoriya. They attacked the driver while crossing a deserted road late at night. The 17th battalion which was crossing the area spotted the injured driver and jumped in action. The driver sustained injuries on the neck and is receiving treatment. Meanwhile, the police are on the lookout for the other member of the attacker duo.
