This timelapse shows Laura Scheving burning a picturesque landscape into a piece of wood.

The pyrographer is seen creating the landscape which she says is meant to resemble Yellowstone National Park.

According to Scheving, she merged various pictures on Photoshop before sketching a few landmarks out on the wood.

This project took six hours to complete.

Laura Scheving is wood burning a poplar console table made by carpenter Adam Goodrum with a Walnut Hollow wood burner.

She researched and was inspired by the Yellowstone National Park terrain and the buffalo that roam there.

She merged multiple pictures in Photoshop to plan out the composition and sketched out a few landmarks on the poplar wood to keep in scale and then began.

She started burning by 9AM and was completed by 3 in the afternoon.

She filmed in her home near Asheville, North Carolina.
