CCTV shows the moments of a youth who fell into a pit that was dug to constructed for a storm water drain was rescued alive with minor injuries
As a part of modernizing city some pits were dug in and around the Thirunelveli city of Tamilnadu South India. And the works were also held in a slow phased manner. People found it difficult even to cross those particular areas in two wheelers and cycles also. A youth who tried to cross the pit missed his balance and fell into the pit with his bicycle. On hearing a noise a women from the nearby came rushing to look into the pit and found a person inside the pit. Worried women called for help. Nearby people came and seeking ways to pull him out.
One onlooker pulled the cycle above first and then another one tried to cut of the net but his attempts were failed then another passerby got the youth some water and ensured that he is out of danger. Helping hands were given from many and the fortunately a ladder was there inside a corner of the pit.
Then a onlooker passed the ladder to the youth and asked him to climb up. Then the youth climbed out without any big injuries. Then he was taken to hospital for minor scratches on his body.
