Flash floods killed three in northern Vietnam and buried a village in mud on Saturday (April 17).

Footage filmed in Lao Cai showed locals and rescue teams clearing debris after the floodwaters had subsided.

According to eyewitnesses, the flooding buried more than 30 homes in mud.

Locals said three people were killed and dozens injured

Video captured the moment of the flash flood suddenly flooded in the night, leaving a village buried in mud in Lao Cai, Viet Nam.
According to local people, the sudden flash flood happened overnight, making it impossible for people to move. They can only climb to the roof to avoid the water flow.
Flash floods have caused more than 30 houses to be buried by mud. Three villagers were swept away by the floodwaters and died. Dozens of people were injured.
The flood destroyed the road leading into the village and caused traffic to be delayed.
Immediately after the flood water receded, the rescue team approached to rescue the trapped people as well as clear the mud and find the missing.
