Amusing footage shows a frantic iguana sprinting through picnic benches to escape park visitors in South Florida on December 26.
Reptile enthusiast Carlos De Choudens said that he and his friends went to enjoy the scenery when they saw the green animal scampering across.
He said: ‘It was so funny because we did not expect him to run so fast. We were there for educational purposes.
‘The reptile was basking out in the sun when it noticed us watching and panicked.’
