Farmers have started harvesting Khirni, a delicious summer fruit, in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 18. The event occurred at Gadhola Jagir village, located in the Khurai region of the Sagar district.

Visuals from the event feature workers perched on the trees, plucking the ripened fruits. The workers climb up the trees and handpick the fruits, and later put them in crates.

The farmers have started harvesting up to 250 trees in the region that would be transported to the surrounding areas. However, as the harvesting season begins, farmers are worried about transportation of the produce to various regions due to the COVID-19 curfew.
