An abandoned rubber airbag which was mistaken for China’s Loch Ness monster has been taken out of a river in eastern China.

The video, shot in the city of Chizhou in Anhui Province on September 17, shows workers taking the around 20-metre-long rubber airbag out of Yangtze River and placing it on the wharf.

The abandoned rubber airbag was mistaken for the Loch Ness monster online.

The airbag may have travelled downstream after being disposed of.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
