A COVID-19 patient went missing from the hospital premises in central India's Madhya Pradesh. Visuals shot on April 21 feature the incident taking place in the Bundelkhand Medical College & Hospital (BMC), located in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature a few mask-clad men standing outside the police station in the region. The relatives of the missing patient gather around and express their distress over the situation. Later, the medical institution from where the patient disappeared gets featured.

The COVID-19 patient, identified as Munnalal Jain, was admitted to BMC on April 14, where he was being treated for pneumonia. Meanwhile, he was isolated in the COVID ward, and his relatives were not allowed to visit him. On April 18, when his family members tried to contact him, he was not available.

Following this, his relatives forcefully entered the COVID ward but did not find Munnalal there. Upon inquiring about his absence, the administration presented the patient's discharge slip dated April 19. However, Munnalal was nowhere to be found after being allegedly discharged.

Munnalal's relatives reached the GopalGanj Police Station and lodged a complaint against the hospital administration for their negligence. However, the patient remains missing while further investigation into the matter is underway.
