Video captured the moment of A sudden flash flood split many areas in Thai Nguyen Province, Viet Nam.
According to locals, around 3am they heard a loud sound coming from the mountain. Immediately after that the flood water flooded back. People quickly moved up to avoid the floodwaters.
Some roads and culverts crossing the road in the area were eroded, causing separation.
Flood water also caused landslide of 80m of canals, damaged 7 self-flowing water structures.
Fortunately, The flashflood do not cause damage to people, but some works of the local people above have been damaged, many household items have been flooded and swept away. In addition, some areas of rice and crops were also flooded.
It is known that heavy rain had happened earlier in the high mountain area. This is the cause of this flash flood.
Many villagers said they felt fortunate to survive because flash floods happened so quickly at midnight.
