A transformer box caught on fire following an explosion in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 22. The incident took place on the Khurai road, located in Bina.

Visuals feature sparks erupting from the transformer box. Mild flames flicker in the region, following which an explosion occurs. After this, high flames engulf the box while clouds of gray smoke envelop the area. Later, the blaze spread to the debris below the transformer box as well.

The incident took place near a petrol pump, where four transformer boxes were placed together. The employees present at the spot tried to extinguish the flames and also alerted the electricity company.

However, the power company ceased electricity supply after the explosion to prevent the fire from spreading to the gas station. Later, the transformer box was mended, averting a major accident in the region.
