A massive fire broke out in an asphalt plant in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 24. The incident took place near the Khajra Harchand village, located in the Khurai region of the Sagar district.

Visuals feature the plant set ablaze. High flames gut the unit while massive clouds of dense smoke continuously rise towards the sky. Meanwhile, panic ensues among the onlookers as the fire rages on against the backdrop of the night sky.

The fire ensued panic among the onlookers, and it took a while to contain it. Moreover, the poisonous gasses erupting from the factory also caused a lot of inconvenience to the locals. However, it is not a recent problem in the region, and the villagers have also tried to register a complaint on the Chief Minister's helpline number.
