Peru has secured enough coronavirus vaccine to give nearly three-quarters of its population at least one dose when the immunization is available, a hopeful development for a nation with one of the highest Covid-19 death rates in the world. This week, the Peruvian health authorities continue to vaccinate people over the age of 80.

The video from April 26 shows the vaccination day in the national sports village, headquarters of the 2019 Pan American games held in Lima, adapted to receive the elderly. Their people can get their doses of the Pfizer vaccine on Friday.
