Chinese villagers race to rescue children buried by mud
Chinese villagers rescued two children who were buried under mud in northern China.
The heroic video, captured in the city of Yulin in Shaanxi Province on April 23, shows villagers using their hands and shovels to dig the mud away to save two children buried underneath.
According to reports, the mud suddenly collapsed, burying two children under it when five children were playing around nearby.
After hearing the children shouting for help, the nearby villagers ran to save them.
After the children were rescued, they were sent to hospital for treatment.
The two children were reportedly not injured seriously and both discharged from the hospital on April 24.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
